Introducing the Cactus Crew

Cactus Crew Scrapbooking is family run business that hosts Scrapbooking Retreats in Arizona. The Wipfler Family moved to beautiful San Tan Valley, Arizona for the great climate and affordable living. After 20 plus years attending scrapbooking retreats on the East Coast and making wonderful friends I decided what better way to meet new people and develop new friendships than to run my own retreat weekends. Our purpose is to provide affordable retreats that are fun, rejuvenating and relaxing, to foster friendships and scrap those memories while making new ones.
The Crew is: Laura (me) who has been scrapbooking for over 25 years and crafting since kindergarten, Eric (hubby and lifter of all things heavy), Elijah and Emily. We look forward to meeting all the wonderful scrappers and card makers in Arizona!

I moved to San Tan Valley, Arizona in 2016 and quickly met some wonderful scrapbooking friends, after attending crops on the East Coast for more than 20 years I decided to to host my own. Our initial Cactus Crew Retreat was held in January 2018 at the Drury Inn and Suites in Chandler, Arizona and sold out! It was a huge success! I am excited to keep meeting such wonderful and creative scrapbookers and card makers.

It's 2023 now and we've been in business for 5 years! We survived  Covid were able to continue hosting retreats without any Covid incidents. We started out doing 3 retreats a year in 2018 and have been doing 12-16 a year since! We have branched out into doing Quilting retreats as well. We look forward to hosting 3 Quilting retreats in 2023 at the brand new Chino Craft Cottage in Chino, AZ.

Our "Crew" has grown and we are proud to say we have amazing crafters attending our events.

If you are looking for fun, rejuvenating, inspiring, and friendly retreats, you have found it!!

We look forward to hosting you in all your crafting fun!!
